About Bas:
Bas Nuiver is creative session player and producer from The Netherlands who worked with a wide variety of artists on stage, in the studio and in tv-shows. His specialties as a bass player are 'subbing' (filling in for other bassists) and recording bass in the studio. As a producer he writes, records and mixes songs and albums. For the last 10 years Bas has been a teacher at Herman Brood Academie and Rock City Institute. Over those years he developed his own methods of working with students on timing/groove, sound, technique and a personal vocabulary. Most of the time you will see Bas playing one of his Precision Basses.
