About Phaedra:

Phaedra Kwant is a versatile bass guitarist, double bassist, singer, composer and lyricist. She studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and in 2004 became the first female Master of Music bass guitar in the Netherlands and has been a much sought-after musician in the jazz, pop and theatre world for many years. She conceived and wrote the successful theater performance "The Story of George Michael", with Charly Luske.

She released the jazzy album "Too Much In Store" in 2009 and "Still Listening" in 2013. Both albums were praised in the national press and Phaedra toured Japan and the United States with her own repertoire. An American newspaper called Phaedra "The Angel of The Netherlands" and "The Dutch Sting". The Japanese magazine "Jazz" named her as one of the 15 "most upcoming bassists".
